Back Alley Jaunt" Local art in local garages Saturday August 13 12:00-6:00 pm An art event transforming over 30 back alley garages surrounding Trinity Bellwoods Park The Alley Jaunt is a Gay Toronto - Queer West Village alternative, urban, community arts event. The event gives exposure to local artists, encourages public interaction with art, and reaches out to a diverse community of all ages within the Trinity Bellwoods Park neighbourhood setting.
Meet at Dufferin Grove Park [on Dufferin Street, south of Bloor eastside] by the "Bake Oven" at 11 am. There is ample free parking across the street in the Dufferin Mall parking lot for those with bike carriers on their car. From there we will cycle as a group over to Trinity Bellwoods Park.
The tour takes place over many side streets and laneways on both sides of Dundas Street West. The tour should take about an hour or so as we stop to admire the art work and talk to the artist. Afterward, there will be time for a snack and beverage at Saving Grace, 907 Dundas Street West, two blocks east of Trinity Bellwoods Park.
